Ok, I’m totally captured by the first several photos. What’s the process? How did you to that? AMAZING!

That was a great post, and I just loved the picture of the colour pencils!

thanks everyone. it’s good to see you here again! I should have made comments but I was in such a rush to get SOMEthing up and comment on everyone else’s that I didn’t. The photos of the painting technique are really a *failed* project. I wanted to do a post to my zine about this technique but I just couldn’t seem to do anything right. Maybe because I was trying to document as I went. The technique is simply (ahem!) to paint with water and then drop the colour in. I did it here with some success… but that was a long time ago. Anyway, I enjoyed these photos of it. I’ll try again soon! Thanks for dropping by.

  8. Annie | February 10th, 2008 | 4:33 pm

That first sequence is so amazing! I love it! I don’t care if it is a failed project - it made for some great pictures!

I love the colored pencils…I always love getting a new box of crayons or pencils…and I’m not an artist at all - just a preschool teacher.

Oh my gosh! Do not say “just a pre-school teacher”! My beloved sister is a pre-school teacher and I’ve never seen anyone work harder or use more creativity! Bless you!

What a range of subjects! And each of them very interesting. I checked out the Practically Creative site. Very interesting. Unfortunately ‘way beyond me.

Beautiful photos…and if that’s how your work looks when you’re failing…!? Funnily enough, with all those gorgeous colours, it is the monochromatic second photo with the swirls of water which captures my eye…but they are all great.
